I had Hassan, of Zombie United fame, over last night to lend a hand with cutting.

Like me, he has always been a little too obsessed with chanel Bag and has always wanted to make his own. He has offered to come and help once a week and in return I will show him how to run the machine and what my processes are in making my stuff.I thought we would start with a very simple pattern and construction, as an introduction into cutting patterns and sewing binding etc. We made these tool bags, well I made these ones and he made one for himself. They are 12 inches in width to make sure it swallows up your 15mm spanner and a tube, and 7 inches tall. It’s the perfect size.

12Hassan suggested adding on the hand loop so that when it is in the bottom of your lv Wallet it is easier to find and pull out from underneath all your other crap, great idea that I will be incorporating into all my tool bags from now on.These will be selling for 12 at the moment as I still haven&rsquo,Clarks shoes;t had my tags made and the liner is a little dirty on some of them, but that shouldn’t really be a problem as it is a tool bag,chanel bags, if you’re worried about having a dirty tool bag then you have other problems to deal with.Thanks for your help Hassan!email – belkbags@gmail.com

Instead of using the ‘Will I make it this Christmas’ tutorials to make presents herself, my naughty sister in law has been placing orders for things that she sees, so that she can give them as gifts to her family and friends.

Which is fine by me, because if someone orders something I definitely get a chance to make it for Christmas…. just not for my gift receivers.

Here are some pencil cases I made using the instructions from Sublime Stitching’s Tutorial

Pretty Upcycled Pencil Cases

The tutorial requires some fairly nifty, but I think unnecessary, manoeuvring inside to totally seal it. I did it on the first one but, but changed the pattern slightly for the next two.

The first one uses a reclaimed tablecloth, ticking, pieces from a girls dress and a section from a ladies blouse. It’s had a life already.

The second one utilises a beautiful girls dress (which grew mould in spots so ended up in my recycling crate), leftovers from a felicity wishes dress-up, a scrap from my mums fabric cupboard and lace from a child’s petticoat.

The last one uses the embroidery from a hankie, a piece from some PJ pants,Clarks shoes, more of the left-over dress-up and some cotton lace hemming.

All the zippers were found in a lv Wallet of ‘goodies&rsquo,gucci handbags; from the local Op shop.

I really enjoyed making these and including all the various finds from my stash. They represent so well what I wanted to explore this Christmas.

I have this vintage caramel color fur trimmed suede vest that I have been pining to wear since the beginning of this summer. Albeit Southern Cal’s November 80 degree weather, I won&rsquo,chanel bags;t be rattled by this slight set back because fur is what’s hot and will be in trend for a while. I’ve already fashioned wearing the furry vest over my simple Helmut Lang semi sheer long sleeve tee (hip length, airy looking but not oversized) with my jet black Ksubi super skinny jeans, and my absolute favorite pair of Chloe brown snake skin 4” knee high boots very soon. To downplay the flashy fur and the snake skin I’ll probably tone down the outfit with a subtly edgy LV bag like the burnt caramel color Botkier Aiden Satchel. My style motto is “simple yet put together”; but again fashion has no rule so if you feel good you’ll look good.

Seriously fur is such a multidimensional style statement that can be blended for any occasion. If you don’t like wearing fur, a furry accessory will do just as well. One of my fav is the EKatrina Samantha clutch from the Samantha collection; a perfect adornment to enhance sophistication as well as playfully spice up a party dress for a night in Hollywood. Can’t get any better than a beautiful clutch in one hand and a buttery nipple on the other!

I like the sharp looking Fendi Taffeta dress because it&rsquo,gucci wallet;s so modern yet classy looking and definitely will look great with the EKatrina Samantha clutch. On the flip side the same EKatrina Samantha clutch is also chic enough to be worn on a night out hitting up Hollywood’s best party scene. I find myself obsessing over the sold-out black Camilla And Marc dress in size 2, so sexy but not hooched out; if anyone has the scoop on where I can snatch one let me know!

The evening/nightlife + clutch look is not for everyone but one cool casual option to kick in the fur trend for daily wearability is the chanel bags from EKatrina’s Samantha collection. I know I know at first sight the Lara might look like a curled up raccoon ball but the bag is not overwhelming at all in person. Look at how cute it’ll look with a pair of AG boyfriend jean and that gorgeous Golden Goose shirt; again if anyone know where I can find that shirt email ASAP!
